What is 2048 Cupcakes?

2048 Cupcakes is the dessert edition of the classic 2048 puzzle game. The rules are untouched, but every numbered tile is replaced by a cupcake, and each merge promotes two identical cupcakes into a richer one. It is free, browser based and needs no download.

How to play 2048 Cupcakes

  1. Press an arrow key on desktop, or swipe on mobile.
  2. Every cupcake on the board slides as far as it can in that direction.
  3. Two identical cupcakes that collide merge into the next cupcake in the chain.
  4. A new cupcake drops in after every move, so the board fills up if you stop merging.
  5. Work your way to the final cupcake to win.
